50 Countries are Now Participating in RES-Q

In early September Peru registered its first site with RES-Q, taking the total number of countries registered to 50. RES-Q is now a genuinely global registry with sites registered from Vietnam to South America via Africa and Europe. RES-Q and our partner countries and sites have achieved this in less than two years, as our first patients were registered in November 2016. This is a huge milestone for RES-Q and we would really like to thank all of our contributing countries and sites. Here’s to the next 50!!

Angels Initiative - Train the Trainer Workshop (Sept.2-4, 2018)

Members of the RES-Q team, Andreea Grecu and Paul Benbow, recently returned from the Angels Initiative "Train the Trainer" workshop in Wiesbaden, DE.  These workshops are hosted by the Angels Initiative several times a year, and present an excellent opportunity for clinicians from around the world to get together and discuss the latest developments in acute stroke treatment, quality monitoring, and post-stroke care.

These meetings are also invaluable for the RES-Q team to meet with participating hospitals and discuss what is working well, and what we can work on improving in the future for the project.  Being able to meet face-to-face with the clinicians who are implementing new improvements in stroke treatment in their hospitals, and are changing how stroke care is managed globally is the best way for us to see how RES-Q can support these changes with the data clinicians need.  We look forward to seeing everyone at the next workshop!
